WellFLow

WellFlow has been developed for the simulation of single and multiphase fluid flow in both production and injection wells. Various geometries can be defined for vertical, deviated and horizontal sections of the well. Pressure drop and heat transfer calculations are made by efficient and widely accepted methods such as Hagedorn-Brown, Beggs and Brill, Gray, and API recommended methods.

WellFlow is capable of modelling production wells (dry gas, gas condensate, and oil) and injection wells (gas, water, and CO2).

Using WellFlow, engineers can set up a model of various well completion, pipe sections, fittings and valves and simulate flow of oil, gas, condensates and water in a short time. It handles both single and multiphase flows in any pipeline geometry. WellFlow uses an extensive library of fluid property correlations which can be calibrated to match measured fluid properties. It can be used for calculation of any flow properties such as pressure drops, flowing temperature, fluid velocity, and gas and liquid hold-ups. For a given flow rate and desired pressure drop, it can be used for sizing pipe segments and fittings as well.
